First meeting wrap-up

Well, we had roughly twenty or so brave souls make it out in the face of snowpocalypse to attend the first meeting. All-in-all a rousing success for a first go-round. A brief talk on woodenware was followed up by Paul Lundy, pres of the Washington Beekeepers Association who gave us an in-depth overview of what the state association does for us as well as welcome us to the fold.

For those needing equipment, we have the club woodenware order. Also, Corky Luster of Ballard Bee co. has offered a 10% discount on anything he carries from Mann Lake to members through March 1st. That’s mostly woodenware, tools and clothing for now. You can reach corky at [email protected].
