What: The USDA Carl Hayden Bee Research Center is holding a webinar on Varroa mites. Dr. Gloria DeGrandi-Hoffman will discuss Varroa mite population growth in honey bee colonies, and provide the latest information on her research in this area. (Click here for a list of publications from her lab.)
When: Tuesday, May 13, 9:00 a.m. PDT.
Purpose: To provide the most up-to-date information on Varroa to help you make better decisions for controlling this mite in your colonies. There will be a question-and-answer session after the presentation. The Webinar will be recorded and posted at http://gears.tucson.ars.ag.gov.
