May 2018 Meeting

On May 1st at the monthly meeting we will have Bob Combs give a presentation. We also are starting the Apiary meetings before the general meeting again. So come out to the Apiary at 6pm where Charles will go through step by step working on the hive.

6:00-6:50 Apiary Meeting by Charles Schaffer
Charles will be going through hive techniques in the apiary. Come see live bees and learn about what you might see or look out for in your hives.
7:00-7:30 Basic Beekeeping by Charles Schaffer
Come and listen to Charles talk about some items especially for new beekeepers and also get input from some more experienced beekeepers as well.
7:30-8:00 Tea Time
8:00-9:00 Presentation on Beekeeping by Bob Combs
Bob will be giving a great presentation on beekeeping and some interesting new insights that he has accumulated over many, many years as a beekeeper. This will include new research that will help all of us become better beekeepers.

Meetings are 7:00-9:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month at Meadowbrook Interpretive Center (directions to Meadowbrook) and are open to the public.
