On February 2nd at the monthly meeting we will discuss the letter from President Schaffer and what we want to do as a club heading forward. Charles then will present on 6 years of research in honeybee mating biology. So if you want to bounce your ideas for the club off your fellow members and the club leadership or you are raising queens and want to understand the process better than come to our February meeting!
Also we will be renewing memberships at the February meeting so bring cash or check for the renewal fee. Remember that as a club member you get entered into the nuc drawing in September and also get to borrow the club equipment for your own apiary.

8:00 – 9:00 | Mating Biology of Honey Bees by Charles E. Schaffer This presentation will not be a “how to” but an understanding of what happens in the entire process of honey bee mating. If you are raising queens or have a desire to do so this information may be helpful in managing your queen mating. |
