October club meeting

When: 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4
Where: Meadowbrook Farm Park, 1711 Boalch Ave NW, North Bend

Our meeting schedule is as follows:
7:00-7:15: Grab a snack and find a seat
7:15-7:30: Club Announcements 
7:30-8:30: Open Forum: Winterbeekeeping
8:30-9:00: Social time and clean up 

This month we will be discussing Winter Beekeeping in Western Washington. The format of this meeting will be a bit different from what we have done previously this year. We will not have any designated presenters. Instead, we will have an open forum to discuss the different things we should do this time of year to prepare and overwinter our hives. We will have some slides to help guide the discussion. It will be a great opportunity for us to share with one another what has and hasn’t worked for overwintering hives, particularly during our wet and cold Western Washington winters.
